The Barrington Birdhouse
This birdhouse is truly an avian masterpiece. The Barrington is 24" in diameter and stands six feet and six inches tall. It may be the the largest commercially manufactured birdhouse anywhere- surely the finest! Hand built from select 3/4" cypress and finished with four coats of non-toxic latex white paint. The Barrington has sixteen separate compartments with 1-1/2" entrance holes suitable for only the finest backyard songbirds. The roof is removable for complete access for cleaning.The roof consists of 16 oz. church steeple copper with hand soldered seams. It will last for generations. The full working solid copper/brass weathervane can be customized with one of over 20 figures. Construction is modular so that unit can be shipped in four boxes by UPS and can be easily assembled with a screwdriver in fifteen minutes. All screws and simple assembly and mounting instructions are included. The Barrington is mounted by simply slipping it over a 4"x4" ground mounted post. The Barrington is available with a working weathervane or with a simple copper spire.
